About me

Isabel Dodiță - Therapist

My name is Isabel Dodiță and I am a dedicated clinical psychologist and integrative psychotherapist in training. Beyond my professional role, I am also a human being who has gone through various life experiences. I strongly believe that each of us has a unique story and inner resources that deserve to be discovered and cultivated. As a person, I am empathetic, open and genuine. I love listening to people's stories and being with them on their journey of healing and growth. I'm a people person and I'm passionate about the human psyche in all its complexity. In the practice, I want to support you in discovering your inner resources and building a life in which you feel fulfilled and balanced. In my workspace, you will find a safe and empathetic place where you can explore and process your experiences at your own pace, unhurried and without judgement.

Who am I?

This is a fundamental question that each of us asks ourselves at some point in our lives. From a psychological perspective, the search for identity is a natural process and essential to our development. The need to understand who we are and what defines us stems from the desire to find meaning and direction in life. Our identity is formed by the experiences, values and emotions that shape our path, and exploring this question helps us to know ourselves better and connect to our true selves. This process of self-discovery is an important step in achieving balance and authenticity.

My academic path was marked by a deep passion for understanding psychology and human behavior. After completing my bachelor's degree, I decided to continue my academic training at the master's level, specializing in Emotionally Focused Psychotherapy, an approach that focuses on emotions as the primary driver of change and healing. In this master's program, I learned to use emotions as an essential guide to explore and develop how emotions influence behavior and interpersonal relationships, with an emphasis on the fact that emotions are not just simple reactions, but important indicators of our fundamental needs.

I am currently undergoing a new professional training process in Integrative Psychotherapy, which allows me to develop a broader perspective and a flexible approach, adapted to the needs of each client. I believe that each person has a unique journey, and my mission is to offer personalized support, based on the most effective therapeutic techniques.

Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of working with a variety of clients, from adults and teenagers to children. My experience in working with children was enriched by training and practice in ABA therapy (Applied Behavioral Analysis), where I helped children develop essential skills for integration into the community and for a more qualitative and autonomous life. Whether it's accompanying them to preschool or school, correcting problematic emotional reactions, or developing social and motor skills, every child I've met has taught me valuable lessons about resilience and the power to overcome challenges.

I invite you to discover further how we can work together to achieve the wellness you deserve, and I am here to accompany you on this journey, providing the support and guidance you need every step of the way!
